Bypass valve HDS
The HDS valve (HDS = hydrodynamic switch) is intended for following applications:
- Maintaining a certain differential pressure in a bypass system
The bypass (overflow) valve opens when a defined pressure is reached. In case of fluctuating pressure, excessive water is lead through the bypass by continous regulation of the valve, thus protecting flow sensitive appliances.
- Regulation of the differential pressure in heating systems
The HDS maintains a minimum circulation within the boiler system.
E.g. in heating circuits, the heating water will be conducted partly from the flow directly to the return.
