			NEOPERL® – Innovative solutions to prevent lime build-up Evaluation of aerators with and without wire-mesh screens   Two new aerators have been tested in the following conditions:   •   accelerated aging: simulation of the equivalent of 5 to 6 years of use in average conditions •   water temperature of approx. 20°C/68°F •   room temperature of approx. 20°C/68°F •   water hardness of 20° to 30° (German hardness measurement) Lime builds up in the middle of the wire-mesh screen and also fills the space between the insert and the housing, slowly closing the air inlets. The water stream loses aeration and splashes. NEOPERL® CASCADE® with its unique construction slows down lime build up. Even after being subjected to the accelerated aging procedure, NEOPERL® CASCADE® aerators produce a straight, round and splash-free water stream.
